I wonder if this account will ever die. I'd probably forget I even had one, if I didn't still have my Friends page bookmarked.

The weekend is going pretty well so far. The 4th of July was better than the last few, mostly because I actually had some decent fireworks to set off. I also had a good time at Greg's BBQ. Today, I actually got out of the house, and set off more fireworks that my brother and his friends had found in the remains of all the other used fireworks. I also rode a bike for the first time in years, and now my ass hurts from the damn hard plastic seat.

I still haven't seen Terminator 3! I was supposed to go see it today with Andrew, but either the phone in the kitchen, which is dying anyway, hung up on him when I picked it up, which it's done before, or I didn't get to the phoen fast enough, because I was sleeping when he called and it took me forever to get up. Oh well, I'll either see it tomorrow or sometime next week, and now I have more money to put towards a new pair of decent PC speakers.

Why the hell do I keep ignoring this LiveJournal. I check my Friends page every day, but I don't bother updating this crap. Maybe it's because SK is just easier. And better.

I almost kind of have a job. Hopefully I'll get hired. There's a good chance I will since supposedly this place is hiring and they just fired someone.

LiveJournal sucks.

Because I slept almost all day, I'm still awake now and am just starting to feel tired. I'll probably be up for another hour before I actually fall asleep.

On TV right now, America's Funniest People is just ending. You might remember this show from the early 90's, when America's Funniest Home Videos was also around. Basically this show was somehow created after one of Bob Saget's costars from Full House was jealous of the sucess of America's Funniest Home Videos. And if you thought America's Funniest Home Videos and Bob's lame commentary were bad, then I suggest you stay away from America's Funniest People. It's horrible. I must have thought this stuff was funny when I was 8 years old, because I remember watching it often.

I don't know why, but TBS has started airing reruns of this trash. As if this show couldn't get any worse, there was a segment during this episode featuring Right Said Fred themselves, and their hit song I'm Too Sexy. I don't remember what year that song became popular, but it was definately early 90's.

Right now they're playing World's Funniest Videos, hosted by that same Dave guy that hosted America's Funniest People. I don't know if this show is any worse, but it's definately as bad as the other 2. CRUSH TELEVISION.

Due to certain websites that are far better than LiveJournal shutting down soon, I will probably be updating this crapfest again. So get ready.

TO DIE.

Hopefully in the near future I will have a job. Andrew is going to try and get me a job at the place he just started working at, and if that doesn't work, I've also submitted job applications at various local retail/grocery stores.

Yay, I got my GeForce 4 today!

More specifically it's a Gainward (yay!) GeForce4 Ti4200 128MB Golden Sample. This thing was made for overclocking, so I can easily crank it up to speeds equal to that of the Ti4600. Almost, anyway.

I need new boots. Mine are all scuffed. I need to find some place other than eBay where I can get a pair of Corcoran Jump Boots for about $30-$40.

im back

I never mentioned it to you LJ folks but I went to CT for a few days. Now I'm back. The rest is directly from my SK journal:

I'm back from CT. I took the train and the train and the subway and the boat and the train and now I'm home. The visit with the family was good. We never got to drive the Mini because we couldn't get it out of the driveway, too much snow and ice. Oops.

I got money, some clothing, a good hat which I needed, and $150 gift certificate for Amazon.com. I have no idea yet what I'm going to spend it on since Amazon.com sells pretty much everything. The money will be spent on even more Surplus.

I think the best part of the entire trip was what I saw on the way home. When I transfered from the 4 to the R at 14th Street, I came accross the best street performer I've ever seen. This guy was standing completely still, on top of this little box. He was wearing a leather flight cap, flight goggles, a flak vest, BDU pants and combat boots. Everything except for the goggles was painted white, including his face and hands. When people walked by, he would move around like a robot and scare stupid people that thought he was a statue. When he moved, even the smallest movement, his suit would make beeps and electronic noises. It was excellent and reminded me a lot of The Robots video (Kraftwerk). After watching him for about 10 minutes I put a dollar in his box and he gave me a plastic army figure from his vest (I got the grenadier). I wish I had brought my camera with me.

Oops, I forgot about this thing. Hello LJ freaks.

Not much has been going on lately.

Hmm, it's xmas. I got fun gifts. Yesterday I got the army surplus stuff I ordered with my birthday money.

I have nothing interesting to say but I will update this thing the next time I do (have something interesting to say).

JACKASS
2002-10-26 20:32:11

I went and saw Jackass this evening. There isn't much to say about Jackass. Either you'll like it or you won't. Most of the movie was sick but it was also hilarious and I laughed through almost the entire hour and a half. If you hate the show, don't see the movie. If you're too poor to afford a movie ticket, just watch the 3 CKy videos. Pretty much the same thing, but since Jackass had $$$$ from sponsors, they could get away with a bit more and edit the video better.

I'm waiting and waiting for Tuesday to arrive so I can yet again skip school in the name of video games. Tuesday is the release of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. I can't wait to kill all types of 80's scumme.
